More About Gracie Barra Twin Cities

Gracie Barra Twin Cities, IL was founded in October 2023.  Our family knew that there was a need for it in the Bloomington-Normal Community and with that worked hard to make it a reality.  Over the past two years, the school has grown and the family has strengthened.  It is an amazing organization to be a part of and when traveling to other areas it is incredible to see the other areas training under the same guildelines and belief system.  Gracie Barra believes in Jiu Jitsu for Everyone and that is the same at GBTC.  We believe that the only thing holding you back from training is your own mind.  With that we have a very strong woman’s program.  Being a woman owned jiu jitsu school it is important to make sure that woman feel comfortable and empowered here.  We offer a free woman’s self defense program every third Sunday of the month and that has helped in showing woman just what they are capable of.  We also offer children’s classes for all children ages 3 and up.
